SURFWARE

About Surfware, Inc.

SURFCAM was developed in the Diehl family's machine shop. In the 1950s and 60s, the Diehl's original Los Angeles area shop specialized in precision molds for the medical industry. After investing in early NC mills in the 1970s, the shop focused on complex, free-form aircraft seals.

In the 1980s, a third generation of Diehl machinists developed NC software for the PC. SURFCAM was born. From the start, SURFCAM defined sculptured surfaces with exact mathematics and rivaled workstation speed and functionality.

Today, Surfware is a rapidly growing, multimillion dollar company dedicated to improving the SURFCAM line of CAD/CAM software products.
