Well, that page is the hardest to write... I really don't know
what should I write !! It should be something that describe me
very well, but I wish not to be like a C.V. I really don't like
phrases like:
My name is Marius Dumitru. I was born on June 2nd, 1977. I
graduated from "Traian Vuia" highschool, from a
computer class. The first time I touched a computer was when I
was 10, and I was visiting a cousin, who had a Sinclair Spectrum
computer. Then, when I was 14 I took a class of computers, when I
worked with some Commodore computers, which knew only Basic. :(
The first time I saw an IBM-PC was when I was 16.
Now I'm student in third year at the University of Craiova,
Computer Science an Engineering Departament. I chose that just
because I like computers, especially programming rather than
engineering.
I like to spend my time watching TV, and the best channels are
Discovery
Channel, ProTV and Antena1. I also like watching
movies, and I don't have any favourite kind of movie that I like.
The best movie I ever saw was: "Return in the Blue
Lagoon", and the especially because of its background. I
even like cartoons. (You already guessed that, don't you ?? :) I like music, and
I want to mention here my favourites: Abba, Mike Oldfield, Scorpions, Modern Talking and Celine Dion.
Except those, I like reading books, and very few sports, like
swimming and riding a bicycle. I like animals, and cats are my
favourites. Sometimes I like to play computer games and to IRC.
And the last, but not the least, I like Murphy's laws and jokes.
I am also interested in Extreme Orient culture: literature and
customs, religion and philosophy.
Well, that's not exactly what I wanted to say. I want to tell you about
how beautiful is to swim to the sea, how beautiful is to climb a mountain,
how beautiful is to see the sun rising from the sea !! I want to tell you about how beutiful images has Romania's
mountains and sea. I have here some Images from Romania, if you're interested,
please watch them. I want to tell you about my vacations in the northen part
of Romania (where my mother was born), and how is to sleep on a mill on water, about
how good is to pick wild strawberries when climb a mountain or about how good is
romanian cookery !!!
Unfortnately I'm not good enough to describe such marvels, so I'll give up.
But please watch the pictures... You'll understand a bit of what I wanted to say... :)
