Let' s Visit Our School!

The school we present for you functions in one building. Downstairs there are three classrooms, Teachers' Room and The Principal 's Room .There are four classes upstairs. In the basement we have the School Library, the Computer Study Lab and the Gymnastics Hall. There is a large schoolyard round the school with a playground and a small shop where the children can buy different things. We have some laboratories where our students enjoy the best conditions for the study of the school subjects. Let us present the Computer Study Lab. You can find here some computers on which the students love working. Besides theoretical knowledge concerning the structure and the work of the computer, they study to operate and to program on it. For a better activity the students are divided in small groups. They took part in inter -schools competitions and won important prizes.

In the Physics-Chemistry Lab the children make experiments which help them understand these sciences. The lab has several test-tubes, chemical substances and different apparatus. Downstairs there is the Geography Lab endowed with maps, Earth globes, albums containing pictures all over the world, photos taken during some trips through the country, charts with the relief forms. Next door we invite you to visit the History Lab. The teacher of history endowed it with maps, charts, photos, posters and albums. This lab also has picture collections describing some sights in our city \Craiova. Upstairs let's visit the Foreign Language Lab. A few pictures and maps on the walls demonstrate that our students learn English , French and Spanish . Some bookcases contain textbooks and different other books and magazines illustrating the three languages studied by the pupils. This lab also has tape-recorders, audio and video cassettes, posters, albums made by the children, teachers and students' portfolios.

You can easily know where the Romanian Language Lab is, watching the Romanian writers' pictures on the walls. Next to the pictures there are charts with fragments of the most important literary works studied by the pupils. The Belles Arts Lab is one of the most beautiful classes. We can admire drawings and paintings of the pupils, which won important prizes at different exhibitions. Some of them were sent in the U.S.A. In the Crafts Lab you can see different things made by the students: embroideries, napkins sewn with folk patterns , painted eggs , knitting etc. In the Biology Lab our students study the structure and the functions of the human body as well as of the living entities.
