The Tophatters of VF-14 celebrated 80 years of continuous active duty the weekend of 4 to 6 November 1999. The Reunion was a success and brought together many generations of TopHatters. Former Tophatters retired Lt. j.g. Bob Holmbeck, 77, oldest Tophatter at the reunion, and retired Capt. Pat Grillo and his wife Adriana Grillo enjoy the festivities at the reunion dinner at NAS Oceana Officers' Club on Nov. 6.
