In september '98 the Tophatters celebrated their 79th
Anniversary. The VF-14 TopHatters 1998 Reunion was held between 10-13 Sep '98 (in
conjunction with Tailhook '98) in Reno, Nevada. Contact was Robert E. Holmbeck, 2596

 The Tailhook '98 - 42nd Annual Convention was held at
the same timea, September 10-13, 1998 at the Nugget
Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nevada. Banquet speaker was be CAPT Richard A. Stratton,
USN(Ret). Also featured was a Vietnam POW Panel on Saturday afternoon. Reunions for
VF-111/CVG-11, VA-153, VA-113, VA-64, CVW-9 (1970-72), SkyHawk Association, VF-5A/VF-51and
, of course, VF-14 were held concurrently with Tailhook '98.
