Fighter Squadron FOURTEEN's Admin/Pers, the nerve center for all personnel. The Admin/Pers office consists of the Personnelman, Yeoman, Radioman and Disbursing Clerk rates. Each rate has a specific job or duty within the squadron to ensure command personnel are able to meet squadron readiness at all times.

Personnelman (PN)- provide enlisted personnel with information and counseling related to Navy occupations, opportunities for general education and job training, requirements for promotion, and rights and benefits. They also assist personnel and their families with special problems or personal hardships along with interviewing personnel, administering tests, create pay-related documents and make recommendations for assignments. In this rate at VF-14 we have PN1(SW) J. R. Stables II, PN2 K. Welch, and PN3 O. G. Carter.

Yeoman (YN)- perform administrative and clerical work. They receive visitors, answer telephone calls and sort incoming mail. They type, organize files and operate modern office equipment such as word processing computers and copying machines. They also order and distribute supplies, along with performing administrative duties in connection with investigations and trials, prepare and type correspondence and reports and organize and maintain files. In this rate at VF-14 we have YN2 D. S. Mathis, YN3 D. R. Bartley and YN3 E. L. S. McAdoo.

Radioman (RM)- operate the Navy's radio communications system. They transmit and receive messages for fast, accurate communications, linking together naval activities on ships, shore and in the air, along with ensuring applicable security measures are observed, operate and coordinate communications systems including automated networks, satellite data links, and the full spectrum of voice, teletype and data circuits. In this rate at VF-14 we have RM2 M. A. Stanley and RMSN B. W. Clark.

Disbursing Clerk (DK)- Disbursing clerks are responsible for maintaining pay records and processing travel claims for the Navy using computer programs. DK's are also responsible for computing the financial reports for all ships and shore bases. DK's learn banking , cash handling, bookkeeping and auditing skills along with computing pay and payroll information. In this rate at VF-14 we have DK1(SW) W. Chatman.

PN's, YN's, RM's, and DK's all working toward the command's goal, make for a proficient and self supporting command team.
