F-14 goes to
MUSEUM One of VF-14's Grumman F-14A
Tomcats recently ended more than 20 years of
career service and a some 5000 flight hours plus
life as a New-York Aerosciences Museum exhibit -
presumably the only jet aircraft to preserve its
original powerplants while exhibited. The
aircraft has been flown to this last destination
by LCDR Tom Mills adn LT John McFadden. One of
our web site visitors provided a story on this subject as
published by the Daily Gazette.
The Empire
State Aerosciences Museum can be found on Route
50.
