File Format Changes from Draft #3 to FINAL

Version 2.0, ISO/IEC WD 14772

July 29, 1996

The following file format changes have been made AFTER Draft #3. Note that since Draft #3 does not include the "Draft #3" syntax in the header, these changes need to be made to any VRML 2.0 final spec applications:

AudioClip

• duration_changed eventOut type: SFFloat --> SFTime        *

CylinderSensor

• offset exposed field type: SFRotation --> SFFloat

Fog

• changed default value: visibilityRange 1000 --> visibilityRange 0

FontStyle

• justify field type: SFString --> MFString       *
• added style field value: "PLAIN" (default)       *

Viewpoint

• eventOut name changed: bindTime_changed --> bindTime
• changed default value: position 0 0 0 --> position 0 0 10
  

Changes marked with an (*) are compatible with Draft #3 files.
