in Craiova/Romania but also in my
travels in the Romanian Carpatians
and in Germany

The Nera Canion is located in the south-west
of Romania. I was there in the summer of '96.
What can I say? It's wild, untuched, unpoluted nature!
I highly recomand the place, if you're
not afraid of vipers :). Don't expect hotels
or such things. Take a tent, sleeping bags,
and food for about a week and - very important - the
antiviper serum.
