To get to the Nera Canion you must first get to Romania - usualy by plane Once in Romania you must take a train to a place named HERCULANE - it's well known, you can get a train to it from almost everywhere in Romania. Once you got there you must take a bus to a small town named BOZOVICI. Best you take the one leaving about 6 a.m. in the morning. In BOZOVICI, you take another bus to a village named "SOPOTU DE JOS". The bus will leave you next to a bridge, after crossing it. You must cross the bridge again and then take the way to the left.

Once you left the canion you have 2 choices:

  1. you hit for home
  2. you go see the waterfalls on the Bei River (it's worth the time). If you ask me leave the canion entrance in the morning, camp at the Bei Lake, follow up the Bei river to see the 3 waterfalls and hit back for home the next day. If you climb up the latest waterfall, there is an extraordinary spectacular view of the mountains
To get home you take the way to the SASCA MONTANA village. From there you must get a car to the city of RESITA. There you can get a train to almost every place in Romania.
