ELECTRONICS AND MEASUREMENTS DEPARTMENT
The Electronics and Measurement Department was founded in 1990
by fusioning the former departments of Electrical Measurements
and Electronics. The main reason for this fusioning was to offer
an adequate support and co-ordination for a new studying group
(speciality)-Applied Electronics-which started his activity in
1991. Members of the department are also teaching Electronics
and Measurements connected disciplines for all the students of
the others electrical profile faculties. The department has a
number of seven groups of laboratories. The members of the department
are also involved in research activities in frames of their PhD
stages or in co-operation with local industry and Ministry of
Education. The research and design teams gather members of the
department specialised in electronics, computer hardware and software
for data acquisition and electronic measurements.
