The Mediterranean Sea, May 12, 1999
NBC Today Show correspondent Matt Lauer reports this morning from USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) as part of the show's Where in the World is Matt Lauer? This is the first live full-band television broadcast from an aircraft carrier at sea. Theodore Roosevelt and its embarked carrier air wing are participating in air strikes in Yugoslavia in support of NATO-led Operation Allied Force.
