The C-135 series of aircraft is amongst my best loved aircraft. They've been flying from RAF Mildenhall for all my life and have had a big impact on my love of military aviation. Produced and converted into more variants than almost any other jet aircraft ever (except perhaps the MiG-21) the USAF expects to continue flying it's Stratotankers until around 2040, by which time the aircraft will be an amazing 80 years old!
